Well it's all over now. My Italian experience is complete. I can simply put the camera away, close my eyes and return home. There is now nothing more to see. This was it and now it's done. Game set and match.

I walked out of the house this morning (to go to church) and tried to cross the street, but couldn't, as the police whistles encouraged pedestrian to stay on the foot path while the parade passed.
